After-School Curling
The Thursday Mens league playoff schedule has been emailed out to skips. It is also available for download from the league page and is posted in the lower lounge in the club.
The Beausejour Junior Curlers & Coaches would like to express their appreciation to Access Credit Union for their recent community donation/grant. The funds helped secure more lockers for the juniors at the club as well as additional equipment so that no one is excluded due to financial restraints. Our program currently is at capacity with 25 curlers in grades 4-9. Sessions take place Mondays after school from 3:50-5:00. Come on down & catch the future stars of the Beausejour Curling Club.
Congratulations to Kelia Haskins and Jeremy Van Driel from Ecole Edward Schreyer School who won the Bronze Medal at the 2025 Manitoba High School Provincial Mixed Doubles Championship in Virden.
Various positions are open on our Board of Directors that we will need to fill at our upcoming AGM. Meetings are generally once per month (except during the summer). Talk to any board member if you have questions or contact Jarrett at sjpowers@mymts.net.

Note that all bartenders must have their Smart Choices certificate to be behind the bar. Helpers without a certificate can clear glasses but must not be behind the bar at any time. You must have your certificate on you during your shift. Volunteers doing bar shifts should bring their certificates to Lucy (our bar manager) who will take a photo of it and keep it in a binder at the bar. Serving It Safe certificates now expire after 5 years so make sure yours is current. Any bar questions should be directed to the bar manager.
If you wish to take your Smart Choices certification, click here for more information. Once you have completed the course, give a copy of your certificate and a copy of your receipt to the club treasurer (currently Donna Ray-Litke) and the club will reimburse you for the cost of the course.
During the season, teams may have one or more players who are unable to play due to conflicts. If this happens, teams should find spares or play with 3 person teams. Any player who is a member of the club can spare for other teams. Non-members must pay a $7 spare fee/game. This can be paid to Lucy at the bar.
If teams can’t find enough spares to ice at least 3 players, then please contact the opposing skip to cancel a game. Make-up games can be rescheduled for Monday evenings. Please contact our icemaker, Todd Evecsyn to ensure ice is available. Please note that make-up games are a last resort and every effort should be made to play games on league nights as scheduled.
Club newsletters for the current season are below. These are also emailed out so make sure we have your current email address.
Newsletters for past years can be found on the Other Info page.
