2024-2025 Season Information
A revised draw is available for download below. There are a couple of minor changes with the most notable being that the Aaron Linke team is now the William Kozie team with a new phone number.
There are 24 teams so that is amazing, there will be 2 full draws every Thursday. The second draw will start at 9:00, feel free to start early if you want. However, do not switch sheets. You must play on your assigned sheet even if another sheet is open earlier.
Please try and keep your games to the 2 hour time slot, especially if you are on the 7:00 draw. We are going to change the bell to a 1 hour and 40 minute bell. When the bell goes you finish the end you are on and play one more.
Hopefully we do not have to do a 2 bell system where when the second bell goes at 1 hour 50 minutes that means the end you are on is your last end.
If you are unable to curl on a Thursday night you have a couple of options:
- Contact the team you are to play and see if they can play on Monday night instead. If both teams agree then you need to contact Todd (ice man) through the arena (204 268-9266) and let him know you need a sheet for Tuesday night. All games for the first round have to be done by Thursday Jan 9th.
- Forfeit the game if other team can not play on a Monday.
50 50
Teams, please check the 50 50 list on who is to sell tickets. Lists are on the bulletin board upstairs and in the men's locker room. Money raised from the 50 50 pays for our Christmas Party food and for our Year End windup food.
50 50 sellers for the night please pick up the bucket from Lucy behind the bar, then sell to everyone upstairs and the draw out on the ice. After selling tickets figure out the amount, pull a winning ticket give winner ½ the money and give the other ½ of the money to Mark Bangert.
