2020-2021 Curling Season cancelled.

Due to the Provincial Regulations on Covid-19 and Public Health restrictions,  the Beausejour Curling Club has decided to make the difficult decision to shut the ice plant and close the door on a return to play this season. We are extremely disappointed but believe the decision is in the best interest of the Curling Club long term.

If you requested a refund of your 2020-2021 fees, the cheques have been mailed out.  Tax receipts for donations will be sent from the Brokenhead River Community Foundation at a later date (they are for your 2021 taxes, not 2020).

Ticket stubs for the club's fundraising raffle can be dropped off at the SunGro Centre office from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  You can also mail stubs to the club at Box 494, Beausejour, MB  R0E 0C0.  Ticket stubs should be returned before the end of March so we can do the draw on the scheduled date in early April.

Details on a possible AGM for the 2020-2021 season will be determined as public health orders permit.

accessibility upgrades

The club has not been completely idle this winter as Todd and the SunGro staff have been busy installing the wheelchair lifts to provide access to the ice surface and main lounge area.  Automatic openers have also been added to both bathroom doors to provide accessibility there as well.  We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year to our new and fully accessible facility.

Funding for this project was provided by the Province of Manitoba, the Town of Beausejour and the Beausejour Curling Club.

Asham Curling Supplies

New for 2020-2021, you can now purchase your Asham curling supplies directly through the Beausejour Curling Club. No more running to Winnipeg and your purchases will benefit the club.

What items are available?

Grippers, gripper disks, slider disks, slip-on sliders (full and half), gloves, mitts, socks, broom heads, brooms, and other miscellaneous items are in stock at the club. Check out the display in the Icebreaker Lounge to see all items available as well as prices (note that PST and GST will be added to all purchases).

How do we purchase items?

Items can be purchased during evening league nights through the bartender.  Payment can be made by cash, cheque or etransfer to beausejourcurlingclub@gmail.com. If paying by etransfer, please use “curling” as the security answer and note Asham Purchase in the message section.  Please get the bartender to calculate your total including taxes before writing your cheque or sending your etransfer.

If you wish to purchase something outside of league nights, please contact us at beausejourcurlingclub@gmail.com to arrange for someone to meet you at the club.

Special Order Items

There are catalogs available on the display that you can take home with you. If you wish to order items from the catalog (such as clothing, shoes, etc), please email us at beausejourcurlingclub@gmail.com with the item number, description and size/colour (if applicable) and we will contact you with the pricing information prior to placing your order. Special orders must be prepaid via cheque or etransfer. Special  order items will be delivered to the club within a week (if they are in stock at Asham).
